The chief commercial officer (CCO) at Home Group has been made redundant five months into the role.
In a post on LinkedIn, Kate Still, who will finish on 31 January, said she was “very sadly” leaving the landlord “due to redundancy”.
“I leave some great colleagues and will be watching where their journey takes them with interest. Onwards and upwards,” she said.
She added that she was returning to interim roles in regulatory resolution, transformation, operations and strategy while she looked for another role.
Home Group appointed Ms Still as chief commercial officer in September.
She joined the 56,000-home housing association from Recensere Associates, an organisation that helps purpose-led businesses improve, where she was chief executive.
Ms Still led on supporting the landlord with its organisational planning, strategy and operational performance.
Over the past five years, she has worked in the health, housing, social care, development and construction sectors.
As a transformation specialist, Ms Still spent six months as managing director of Barking and Dagenham Council’s B&D Reside, reviewing what is the largest local authority housing delivery company in the UK.
She also joined Castleoak, a care and retirement village development and construction group, as a consultant and then became chief operating officer as the organisation grappled with the challenges facing the care sector during the coronavirus pandemic.
Ms Still was chief operating officer at Citizen from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, she spent six years at housing association Sanctuary, rising through the ranks to become national housing operations director.
She is also chair of South East landlord Thrive Homes.
Mark Henderson, chief executive of Home Group, said: “After five months of working with Home Group and helping us move forward in our understanding of our future strategy, Kate will be leaving the organisation on 31 January 2025, due to redundancy.
“I’d like to thank Kate for her time at Home Group and wish her much success in her future career endeavours.”
