Inside Housing has been encouraging councils to say what they are doing to build homes and to mark 100 years of council housing. Here we feature a selection of your tweets (homepage picture: Derby Homes)
We want councils to tell us how they are tackling the housing crisis or how they are marking the anniversary of the Addison Act.
We’ve been calling for local authorities to use the hashtag #100yearsofcouncilhousing to say what they are doing. You can also get in touch with us by emailing: editorial@insidehousing.co.uk.
Councils and other providers of social housing across the country have been tweeting in response, below is a selection of your tweets from the second week:

Inside Housing’s head of engagement Carl Brown provided a reminder of past levels of council housebuilding:
As we mark #100yearsofcouncilhousing here’s a reminder of how many homes councils were building in the past - nearly 200,000 homes p.a. in the early 1950s before dropping to pretty much nothing by the 90s. What will it take to get these numbers back up? #ukhousing #localgov pic.twitter.com/G6reapU6nk
