Every year, the Inside Housing Development Awards offer a chance to celebrate the best in new residential housing from across the country.
From decarbonisation to rising prices, the housing sector today is under pressure from several directions. But as the developments celebrated by these awards demonstrate, the sector continues to showcase its resilience and innovative spirit – as well as the positive impact it has on people and communities throughout the UK.
Each winner exemplifies best practice in housebuilding today. Wigan Council was the winner of two awards for its Whitebeam Close regeneration project; the judges praised its “outstanding design” and drew attention to the project’s extra-care scheme, commending its focus on the “very specific needs” of older and vulnerable residents.
