Housing association and council moves
- Barry Wears has been appointed chief financial officer at One Manchester. He was previously finance director at Trafford Housing Trust.
- Dame Sandra Horley has joined the board of directors at Bromford as a non-executive director. She was previously chief executive of Refuge, a provider of support services to women who have survived gender-based violence.
- Janet Mussington has been appointed interim director of development at Islington and Shoreditch Housing Association. She has been working as a consultant at the organisation and was previously head of development for London at Sanctuary. She replaces Olukunle Olujide.
- Karen Connell has been appointed interim head of housing at North West Leicestershire Council, having previously been head of resident services at Harrow Borough Council. She started on 3 May and replaces Chris Lambert, who has retired.
- Golden Lane Housing has appointed Jonathan Bunt and Bernie Keenan as board members and Kirsty Garrett as a trainee board member. Mr Bunt is director of Beehive Affordable Homes, which helps housing associations sell properties to councils; Mr Keenan is deputy chief executive of housing association Progress Housing Group; and Ms Garrett is a director of corporate debt capital markets at Lloyds Banking Group.
- John Taphouse has been appointed head of asset management strategy at LiveWest, having previously held short-term interim management assignments at housing providers in Wales and the South West. He starts on 17 May in the newly created role.
- Fiona Deal has been appointed assistant director of people at Golding Homes. She has previously held executive-level roles in housing at Network Homes, AmicusHorizon (now Optivo) and Moat.
- Jordan Lister has been appointed director of growth and strategic information at Aster Group. He joins from Philip Callan Associates, where he provided strategic consultancy to some large housing associations.
- Niki Stockton (pictured above) has been appointed director of customer experience at South Lakes Housing. She joins from Warrington Housing Association, where she was executive director of operations.
- Adam Masters has been promoted to the role of assistant director of environment and sustainability at Stonewater.
- Tracey Spencer has been appointed customer service director at CHP. She joins from Hundred Houses Society, where she was executive operations director.
- Joan Lamie and Mhairi Mullen have been appointed to service manager posts within Fife Council’s housing service. They both move from other roles within the council.
- Natalie Sturrock has been promoted to the role of director of housing at Hightown Housing Association. She was previously head of housing.
- Carl Willerton has been appointed recruitment manager at Ongo, having been promoted from the role of senior recruitment consultant at the landlord.
Other moves
- Rebecca Sycamore (pictured above) has been appointed interim chief executive of homelessness charity St Mungo’s following the sudden death of former CEO Steve Douglas. She was previously executive director of strategy and development at the charity.
- Anjila Thomas has joined the board of housing association borrowing vehicle MORhomes as a non-executive director. Ms Thomas is senior managing director at ING Bank.
- David Moore has been appointed ICT director at property services business Liberty Group.
