East London housing association’s pilot scheme to prevent damp and mould

When east London housing association Poplar HARCA adopted the new technology from HomeLINK, it first ran a pilot scheme in 14 homes that it knew to have damp and mould issues to test the success of the software and app before rolling it out to 6,000 more homes.

The intention is twofold: to have a more focused approach to how a property is used, which can give people additional knowledge, making maintenance easier; and to empower those living in the home so that they can make decisions on the quality of their home and their well-being.
