Shauna Morton, Head of the Community Investment service, currently leads a team who utilise a variety of approaches to mitigate the impact of deprivation and disadvantage across Bolton Communities. Shauna has worked for Bolton at Home for nearly 20 years and in that time she has managed several projects for BH including leading up the research and evaluation for the organisation, delivering on Neighbourhood management and being responsible for external funding.
Shauna believes it is a privilege to be able to do the job she has, as every day is different and working with and for communities is both inspiring and bloody frustrating. She is lucky to have a team of talented and committed officers who actually believe that residents have a right to be heard and work hard to make sure they are.
