Housing Benefits

Housing associations, councils and arm’s-length management organisations (ALMOs) do much more besides housing their tenants. They tackle anti-social behaviour in their communities, get tenants into work, reduce fuel poverty and help tenants liaise with the benefits system. As part of our Housing Benefits campaign, we want to provide a forum for social landlords to map out some of the contributions they make to society, and tenants.

Add your own stories of how housing benefits tenants on our interactive map by clicking HERE.

HOW TO ADD YOURSELF TO THE MAP: When you get to the map, click Map Pointerto add details of how your organisation is contributing to Britain. Then click on the location of your head office, and a box will pop up. Please enter the name of your organisation in the first box, and information about the benefits you are bringing to tenants, the location community or the country. Have a look at the entries we have posted from a number of social landlords for ideas on what to include.
