Prior to that, Mr Vickery held roles at Insight Investment and Henderson Global Investors, where he handled client relations for international investors

He will now support PfP Capital’s growth plans through new relationships with institutional investors and nurturing its portfolio.

PfP Capital runs several funds aimed at attracting cash from investors to deliver private rented homes.

As of 2019 it set up three funds, including a build-to-rent fund aimed at attracting £500m of investment to build 3,000 new homes.

John Tatham, finance director at PfP Capital, said: “We are delighted that Mark has joined PfP Capital to support the growth of our residential investment platforms.

“His track record in the institutional investment market and interest and passion in environmental, social and governance makes him a great addition to our team at a point in time where we want to increase the scale of our business and impact.”
