Abri housing association has announced a list of 11 contractors which it will partner with on a £350m construction framework.
The 35,000-home landlord, formed via a merger between Yarlington and Radian housing associations last year, said the contractors selected will help build at least 10,000 high quality, sustainable homes over the next decade.
The framework agreement will also be available to members of Wayfarer, a consortium of housing associations, local authorities and charitable partners across the South of England.
The 11 contractors selected include:
James Pennington, director of development at Abri, said: “We’re really looking forward to working with partners who share our mutual interests to help build communities that provide social value.
“But it’s not just about building homes, this framework will also help to create jobs for people and provide educational opportunities.
“With our shared commitments to building high quality, sustainable homes, this partnership-led approach will enable us to build many new communities in the coming years.”
The framework partnership comes after Abri recently signed a 750-home deal with an Ikea-owned modular house builder.
