Housing association and council moves
- Jacque Allen (pictured above) has been appointed deputy chief executive at Your Housing Group, having previously been chief operating officer at the group. She joined the organisation in April 2020 from her role
as director of housing at Wythenshawe Community Housing Trust. - Carol Hinvest has been appointed operational director of housing at Redbridge Council, having previously been assistant director of housing at Thurrock Council. She replaces Jackie Odunoye, who retired at the end of December and started on 29 March.
- Matt Saye has been named executive director of operations at Onward Homes. He has previously held the role of group director of customer services at One Housing Group.
- Simon Hardwick has been appointed chair of Saxon Weald. Mr Hardwick is a retired lawyer who specialised in commercial property, development and construction, and was formerly a partner at PwC. He replaces Simon Turpitt, who had come to the end of his maximum term as board member.
- Lesley Oldfield, Colin Bailey, Chris Musgrave and Steve Eaves have been appointed head of risk, compliance and policy; head of data governance and assurance; head of procurement category management; and regeneration director respectively at Platform Housing Group. Ms Oldfield was previously risk, audit and policy manager at Platform; Mr Bailey was previously information compliance manager at Platform; Mr Musgrave was formerly a procurement consultant; and Mr Eaves was previously assistant director, development at Magenta Living.
- Richard Earwarker has been appointed national operations director (Metworks) at Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing, having previously been head of surveying and communal works at the London Borough of Hackney. He started on 6 April.
- Martin Ford has been appointed head of repairs transformation at Cardiff Community Housing Association, joining from Cadwyn Housing Association. He started on 29 March.
- Kelly Thomas and James Griffiths have been appointed interim director of development and interim head of development respectively at Coastal Housing. Ms Thomas was previously a lead on community-led housing at Bristol City Council, while Mr Griffiths has more than 20 years’ experience in the construction industry.
- Liz Wilson has been appointed head of design and specification at Orbit Homes, having previously been interior design manager at City & Country.
- Rebecca Wilcox has been appointed head of housing at Sevenoaks District Council. She was previously housing operations manager – neighbourhoods and development at Ashford Borough Council.
- Jamie Ratcliff has been named executive director for people and partnerships and Tabitha Kassem has been named executive director of governance, technology and transformation at Network Homes. Mr Ratcliff was previously executive director of business performance and partnership and Ms Kassem was previously executive director of governance.
- David Edge has been appointed head of business transformation at Soha Housing, having previously worked as solutions manager at Central Networks, a managed service provider in Lancashire.
- Sharon Brown has been named director of assurance at Great Places. She was previously head of business assurance at the landlord.
- Rose Klemperer, Dr Andrew Olawale, Latisha Clark-Dhir and Ian Campbell have been named board members at The Pioneer Group. Ms Klemperer is senior associate solicitor at Penningtons Manches Cooper; Dr Olawale is currently associate director at KPMG; Ms Clark-Dhir is an associate within the real estate finance team at Avison Young and previously worked for Walsall Housing Group; and Mr Campbell is a risk and controls lead at the Royal Bank of Scotland.
- Pamela Leonce has been appointed as a board member at Sovereign. She is chief executive of Stowhill Consultancy, a career coaching company that works with executives and senior leaders.
Other moves
- Adam Sampson (pictured above) has been appointed the first independent reviewer of service complaints at the Housing Ombudsman. He is a former chief executive of Shelter and had involvement in the creation of the prisons and legal ombudsman services.
- Keith Harris has been appointed as a contracts manager at contractor Living Space. He joins from Wates Construction North West, where he was a construction manager.
- Emelda Livette has been appointed chief executive at property development and housing management provider Amber Housing. She was previously chief operating officer. The organisation plans to become a registered provider of social housing.
- Wes Erlam has been appointed director of urban regeneration at Legal & General Capital. He was previously development director at Muse Developments.
- Charis Beverton, Claudia Minchin, Claire Russell, Joseph Reed and James Corbett have been named partners at law firm Winckworth Sherwood.
