A rioter who faces losing his home after pleading guilty to burglary will be sentenced in court tomorrow.
Daniel Sartain-Clarke, 18, faces eviction from his home after his landlord, Wandsworth Council, issued a Notice Seeking Possession against his mother following the English riots in August 2011.
The council courted controversy when it issued the NSP against Maite de la Calva following the arrest of her son. Ms de la Calva also has an 8-year-old daughter living at the property.
Campaigners argued that the council was acting prematurely by issuing the NSP before Mr Sartain-Clarke had even been charged with any offence.
The teen later admitted a charge of burglary but a charge of resisting arrest was ordered to stay on file. He will be sentenced at Inner London Crown Court tomorrow at 2pm.
