Homes Work campaign

Inside Housing’s Homes Work campaign passed a milestone this week as social landlords pledged to provide 1,000 apprenticeship places in 2014/15.

The first milestone figure was reached as Willmott Dixon put hoardings up supporting the campaign at a number of its sites - persuading communities secretary Eric Pickles to pose in front of the signage in the process. Many thanks to all of you who have backed Homes Work so far. Please continue to get in touch and let us know how many apprenticeships and training places you will provide this year - and shout about it on your site hoardings.

Social landlords, developers and their contractors do so much more than provide new homes. This campaign is designed to help showcase how they get people into work and boost local economies across the UK - and push to achieve even more.

It’s been a pleasure to shout about what you’re delivering so far. Here’s to the next 1,000.
