The Riot Report is just the beginning for work to highlight the positive role played by social landlords.

Six months on from the riots that swept through many urban areas of England, Inside Housing, the Chartered Institute of Housing and the National Housing Federation have this week published our response.

You will find your copy of The Riot Report enclosed with this week’s edition of the magazine, or you can read it online (see link below). In addition we will be distributing the report to more than 150 key politicians and policy-makers to highlight to them the impressive work that social landlords are already doing to help build stronger communities. Thank you to everyone who has given their time and expertise to help us produce this work.

But it doesn’t stop here. As you can see even from this week’s magazine, social landlords routinely display original and creative thinking to find solutions to some of the toughest problems facing society today. From Thames Valley Housing Association to Alliance Housing Association and Midland Heart, we will keep promoting your good work so it’s read where it matters. Let’s keep the ideas coming.
