Industry discussion often goes straight to “what does good look like” when it comes to the level of detail that needs to be submitted in a Gateway Two application to demonstrate that a project will comply with Building Safety Regulations.

Rather than focusing on the application itself, this session will encourage participants to look at what they intend to do during the construction phase. By shifting mindsets, this will allow you to better articulate what you are intending to build and demonstrate how compliance will be achieved.

Following a scene-setter presentation, this interactive session will invite participants to join small group discussions from the point of view of key dutyholder roles, including:

• Principal contractor
• Principal designer
• Client

You will be guided through a range of considerations to discuss before sharing feedback and reflecting on how this will support you to discharge your duties efficiently and to the highest standards.
