Yemi is a standout leader in the housing sector. She serves as head of development for Meridian Water, Enfield Council’s ambitious 25-year regeneration programme, which aims to deliver 10,000 homes alongside commercial and infrastructure projects, along with around 6,000 jobs.

 

Over her career, Yemi has developed expertise in the design and delivery frameworks relevant to housing development and regeneration. But her leadership extends beyond delivering housing outcomes – she strategically considers broader objectives, earning recognition for her visionary approach and dedication to creating equitable and thriving communities. She actively advocates for equality in education, income, gender, race and housing, as well as for improvements in access to the construction industry.

 

As a board member of Women’s Pioneer Housing Association, Yemi plays a pivotal role in supporting its mission to provide secure homes for women in London. Her work as a board member and trustee in various organisations, including the Royal Institute of British Architects, reflects her commitment to social justice and economic equity.
