Over a 15-year career in housing, Vikki has committed herself both personally and professionally to improving tenants’ lives and building stronger communities. Vikki only recently took on her current role at South Holland District Council, where she is leading a significant programme of change. She has been instrumental in driving cultural change at the council, a shift that has strengthened service delivery, while fostering a modern approach to housing management.

 

Vikki is also a big believer in the importance of collaborative working. She recently joined the board at another local authority’s landlord to act as its critical friend, while at the same time engaging with several authorities of similar sizes across the country to promote working together and sharing best practice. 

 

Vikki understands the value of strong data management. She recently secured the support needed to carry out a tenant census; her preparation and promotion of the importance of this work secured an outstanding 70% response rate, and the results have significantly strengthened the council’s knowledge of its tenant base and provided valuable insight into future service investment and decision-making.
