When Victoria joined Riverside three years ago, the organisation had significant room for improvement around data quality. Over that time she has delivered a transformational step-change in this vital area.

 

Victoria is an innovator. To take one example, she adopted a fresh approach that focused on a single area of concern within the business – how the management of void properties was being impacted by poor-quality data. The success of this pilot paved the way for the creation and board approval of a group-wide information governance strategy which is now being implemented. 

 

Victoria has changed the shape of information governance at Riverside and is unquestionably creating best practices within the housing sector; after hearing from other providers, it is clear that Victoria is developing a sector-leading approach in this arena. 

 

Victoria was recently promoted to the role of head of information governance – and, more recently, her work was a major factor in Riverside’s information services team being recognised as the winner in the not-for-profit category at the British Data Awards.
