Since joining Sanctuary as a graduate trainee, Nicole has risen rapidly through the ranks. She became an executive director aged 28, then at 29 she became the youngest-ever member of the group’s board.

 

Nicole is highly skilled at getting to the core of complex issues and policy changes affecting the sector, and understanding what they mean for Sanctuary and its customers. Her impact has been particularly felt in the areas of safety and compliance, and complaint handling.

 

She is most proud, however, of her work on inclusion. She has focused on embedding an inclusive culture across the group, which has included the creation of four staff networks and a separate diversity and inclusion strategy. Nicole continues to drive Sanctuary’s vision and to weave inclusion into strategic conversations. In a shifting sector, Nicole understands and navigates complex changes across a broad area – while always being a voice for the customer.
