Abbie is passionate about positively impacting the people who live in left-behind communities across the UK. Her current role focuses on anti-social behaviour and improving communities. Measuring social value, creating a volunteering strategy and implementing strategic priorities into frontline operations have been central to Abbie’s work over the past six months.
She is committed to supporting those who face issues in social housing, by deploying a range of solutions to improve their situations.
Some of her key achievements include leading a team to create an award-winning chatbot to support customers with cost of living information; partnering with Local Energy Advice Partnership (LEAP) to maximise customer incomes and reduce debt, resulting in savings to customers’ energy bills of more than £800,000; and taking on the role of volunteering lead at Home Group.
